San Vito, Borca, Vodo, Cibiana and Valle di Cadore - from 800 to 1000 metres on the sea level - are four villages adding up about 5000 inhabitants, located in the Valle del Boite, in the heart of the Eastern Dolomites, approximately ten kilometres from Cortina d’Ampezzo.

 

They make up a tourist area for national and international visitors, both in winter and in summer. For ski lovers, the San Vito di Cadore Ski Area is located in a panoramic position. The “scheduled” snow ensures the availability of 14 kilometres ski tracks from early December to late March. 2 chair-lifts and a 1 ski-lift are in operation, including a modern 3-seat chair-lift. Car parks are available by the facilities.

 

For beginners, an active school field is served by a special moving carpet for up-climbing, thus remarkably reducing the time required to learn. Expert skiers can also choose among the 5 ski areas in the near Cortina d’Ampezzo; Nordic ski lovers can practice their favourite sport in the San Vito tracks of the Senes plain and Pian de la Graes, as well as in the beautiful track on top of the Cibiana pass. In San Vito di Cadore and its valley you can also find several hosting possibilities: hotels, flats and holiday that can satisfy any kind of demand. Several restaurants - that offer sophisticated dishes enriched by traditional flavours - and refuges, close to Nature, are the best place to taste typical local products.
