A holiday in Cortina leaves its sign: you could live it again in a movie, or read about it on magazines, or simply tell your friends about it with the pride of those who have lived exclusive moments. A holiday in Cortina cannot be trivial.

Geographically, Cortina stretches from the Falzarego pass to the Tre Croci pass, surrounded by the most enchanting mountain group in the Eastern Dolomites: the Sorapiss, the Antelao, the Croda da Lago, the Tofane, the Croda Rossa, the Cristallo mountains soar from a romantic background of woods and play with shadows and rosy colours of rocks, during the long daylight time. In summer the tourist offer is based on the beauty of mountains, that allow a wide choice of excursions.

But the possibility to practice sports is endless and ranges from traditional activities, such as tennis, swimming, golf, horse riding and mountain bike, to extreme sports such as rafting and free-climbing. In winter you can enjoy 110 Kilometres of ski slopes and 58 for Nordic skiing, with endless circuits supported by 37 ascent facilities.

Many other sports complete the winter offer: from skating to sleighing, from tours on snow rackets to sleddog, from ice falls climbing to taxi bob. Cortina is also a place of traditions and culture and offers top level cultural events throughout the whole year: art exhibitions, literary and cultural happenings, relevant sites such as the “R. Zardini” Palaeontological Museum, the Ethnographic Museum of Ampezzo or the Rimoldi Picture Gallery. And entertainments of all kinds: from the typical “struscio” (leisurely walking on the main avenue) to shopping in Corso Italia, from folklore to the feminine ski World Cup, from the bob World Cup to the Carving Cup.
