Just the magical landscape of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo, as it can only be admired from Auronzo, would be a valid reason to spend a holiday here. But Auronzo and Misurina offer even much more: a return to the intimate rituality of nature, that only a mountain village can still offer.

All this is matched with a fantastic commercial offer, in terms of shopping and leisure opportunities. Skiing, snowboarding and off-track skiing, for instance, on more than 12 kilometres slope on Monte Agudo or on the 10 kilometres of the Col De Varda slope. Or, more, tours on dog-towed sledges in the woods of the Somadida Natural Reserve. Green in summer, this forest becomes an important resort for Nordic skiing in winter.

For those who are not fond of skiing, Auronzo provides a covered ice skating ring and an ice kart circuit: a frosted track for special go-karts, available at night as well. The Misurina lake, frosted and covered by a compact snow cover, becomes an exclusive field for Winter Polo, a horse sport that finds its top expression in the international tournament in February. If you really want to enjoy life, you can go shopping (from artisan to gastronomy products, to fashion) and then surrender to wellness treatments in one of the several health centres in the area.
